Feeling Trapped at Camarillo Oaks Apartments

I have never written a review before. The fact that I'm writing one is some indication of how desperate I feel.
This is far and away the noisiest apartment building I've ever lived in. And I've lived in many over the years.
It is an oppressive feeling having to pay an ever increasing $1400 for a small 2- bedroom apartment, while dreading the summer because more unsupervised kids and foul-mouthed adults take over the pool and surronding areas. Management does nothing to enforce the house rules, or make the rounds, so there is often people screaming at the top of their lungs for hours. I'm not talking about the usual noise of kids playing and having fun. I like kids and don't mind the noise that comes from playing in the pool and recreation area. Many of the grown-ups don't act like adults when it comes to child safety around the pool. Open pool gates, non-residents swimming by the truckload, underage kids that you hope can swim. I can barely hear myself think as I write this from my living room with the window closed even though it's stiffling hot in here.
Think twice before renting here. You might be the only responsible person in your building. You'll be like the YMCA for the entire neighborhood, covering their pool costs, and now sewer and refuse. All the costs of home ownership with none of the benifits.
I hope this helps in your decision making.
