Nice Place From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 3/20/2007 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2007   This is a decent apartment complex at a decent price. I mean, you really can't find anything cheaper in this area. My likes: - Lots of space. Similarly priced apartments were about half this size. Lots of closet space, etc. - Floorplan - I like how the kitchen is open, and also has lots of counter space. - Grass - Our apartment looks out over a common green space. These buildings are not shoved up against one another so I get a nice view, a place for visiting kids to run around, and sunlight comes into the living room for about half the day. - Good maintenance staff. Whenever I comaplain about something, someone almost always shows up that day. - Garden lady - There's an elderly woman who takes care of all the plants on the property. She is very friendly and always says hi or something nice about the weather. It makes this place feel more like home. So often you never meet your neighbors. Dislikes: - Cold water. Everything was fine when there were a few empty apartments around us, but now that they are full we have had to suffer through cold showers now and then. I complained several times and the problem seems to be getting better. - Crummy fixtures. The bathtub has an old accordian door (which they will not replace with sliding glass until it's truly broken... I'm tempted...) and the counters are stained. The faucets are not very good quality and the kitchen cabinets are totally beat up. - Cheap carpet. I literally have to empty the filter several times for every time I vaccuum because it just falls apart and the fuzz fills up my machine. But really, what can you expect from a decently priced complex' They aren't going to invest in making it all nice when their renters will beat it up in a year anyway. Also, I have never had a problem with noise like other people have mentioned. Uh oh, are we the noisy neighbors'''
