Avalon Campbell is definately a nice complex as a whole and the apartments are nice, but so not worth the money. The parking is terrible--if you don't have an assigned spot you won't find somewhere to park. The mailboxes are nowhere near your apartment. The hot tub is always too cold and the pool is never heated. You always get stuck at the train tracks when trying to leave. Sure it's pretty to have 9 foot ceilings, but you can't even reach into the top two shelves of your kitchen storage. The balconies are pretty small. I can always hear the kid above us running around. The lights outside are so bright and shine into the bedrooms. After living there for 2 months the "old spots" from the carpets came up and so our floors always looked dirty.

There is a huge turnover in staff. Nobody ever knew our names or which apt we were from. They never answered the phones when you'd call. If you go to pick up a package, half the time they'd have a sign on the door saying they'd be out for 1-2 hrs, and they already have short office hours.

They raised our rent $300! We gave notice to move out early before our lease (only b/c our new place gave us free rent for a month so it worked out) and they kept saying they had someone put down a deposit FOUR times and miraculously each one fell through. So the last one that signed a lease OF COURSE isn't moving in until after our lease ends. They are very shady and sneaky with the money. I had friends call pretending to be looking for a 2bed and they were very quiet about our apt up for rent, since we still had to pay for it, but practically begged for them to come see the other ones. Very unprofessional. We were hoping to get it rented asap to get our money back, being that when we moved in we fought for the place. I think they honestly didn't tell prospective tenants about our place.

Basically don't move here. If you want to live somewhere nice go see Kimberly Woods only 5 minutes away, it's SO much better there. aLKeoXpj3s4OSgrp1trb
