We too moved here in March... after our initial move in date was supposed to be Feb 28th. We had to wait another 12 days. Thank god we had a place to stay! THE POWER ALWAYS GOES OUT IN OUR BUILDING! At least once a month we have to reset the clocks. Weather is NOT the always reason. (2 of the 6 have this problem) however during the last series of storms we were without power for 3 days, yes 3 days, while the rest of the complex had no problems! We lost $160 worth of food and PG&E said it was the complex's responsiblity to call. I was told they did not call more than once. During this time, someone not of the complex decided to take residence in the foyers upfront and the coutresy patrol did nothing about it! I park 1/8 from my apartment because they told me that there were no spots closer that would accomidate my "oversized vehicle" (a suv). Not only to I have to hike with groceries, but I have to pay $20 for an uncovered spot. Our friends as well have to park and jay walk over here. There is water damage in the bedroom from the previous storms, the smoke detectors cant seem to tell the difference between making toast and a fire, the vanities in the bathrooms are a waste of precious space (they should have made it a linen closet), there is NO storage other than the closets in the bedrooms, the wall heaters are inefficient, air conditioning either freezes or bakes, and the only saving grace (the head of maintenance) just quit. Its going downhill and we are willing to lose money to leave. Oh, and they never heat the pool!
