The buildings are very old. In the summer if you happen to be in a unit without A/C....it gets really uncomfortable. The floors are very uneven and "lumpy". there's no elevators and I had bats roosting in my ceiling...Gross. I would NEVER want to be in those old buildings when the next earthquake hits.

The walls are paperthin and you do occassionally hear a rumble in the jungle late at night. Some of the tenants are really mean and nasty. Not a child friendly environment, at all. BIG THUMBS DOWN!!!

I currently live here and my only problem is my upstairs neighbor walking loudly. I don't hear my next door neighbors ever and it is a very safe and pretty decent apartment complex. Best I've seen in my price range. I don't have "uneven" floors, so I'd have to disagree - maybe its different in each building. I've had no problem in my 2nd floor unit with no air conditioning (building D). It's pretty comfortable with a fan - I don't need it to be ice cold. I also haven't encountered a mean or nasty tenant - sure you never have perfect neighbors, but I think your review is pretty unwarranted. How can you give the parking such a low rating? Everyone has designated spots and the visitor parking is _never_ full. Also, good luck finding any building with elevators around here.
