I can't really recommend this place. I've lived here only a year and it has been a constant problem. The manager is very eccentric and nearly impossible to get ahold of -- it will take at least 4 or 5 trips in a single day to find the office open. She has also attempted to tow several cars THAT HAD THE PARKING STICKER because she did not see it. I myself have received several warn-of-tow notices despite having the parking sticker in the same place on my car since the day I moved in. Also, you cannot park in any spot inside the complex, covered or not, if you don't have a parking sticker. In other words, guests park on the street, of which there are about 20 spots for 200 apartment units. I hope you don't have any friends.
When I first came here, the windows were installed upside down, if you can believe it, and they would not close. It took them about a week to respond to my maintenance request despite multiple messages left.
Noise is TERRIBLE. An absolute nightmare, and perhaps the worst problem. There is an elementary school directly behind the complex. There is a side street directly next to the complex. On the opposite side, there is a bar. And last, there is a main street, Hamilton Avenue, directly in front. No matter where you live, you will be subjected to the noise. It is impossible to leave your windows open at night because you will never, ever sleep. Maintenance is done every Tuesday, starting at 7am, and lasts 4 or 5 hours -- don't even try sleeping during then, windows closed or not.
All that said, the grounds are quite nice. A lot of vegetation and thick with trees. The neighbors all seem very respectful. The interiors are nothing special, as the building is old, but they are decently sized. Be aware that there is asbestos in the ceiling. Unfortunately, the nicety of the living area and grounds does not redeem the other problems. You've been warned.
