its ok but watch out tho... From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 11/3/2006 Years at this apartment: 2001 - 2006   The apt complex overall is nice. Especially the courtyard. The halls of just been remodeled with new carpets, tile, lighting, crown molding and 2-tone paint. Looks nice compared to the way it used to. Now the bad part. The maintenance staff is not very knowledgeable on how to make repairs. They also pretend not to understand english alot. Window panes are held in their frames, in alot of apts, by spring clips only. No rubber gasket for the glass, no caulking around the glass or window frame on the outside. The a/c unit is also the heating unit, is very expensive to run, it is very loud and old. The hot tub is constantly filled with leaves and algae/mold has been seen growing in the pool. Manangement alledges the pool is cleaned 3 times a week. If it is, how did the mold get in the pool' Also, everytime someone moves, other apts for some reason are all of a sudden facing a roach problem. I have seen roaches at least 6 times in my apt since I have been here. The washers and dryers could be russain roulette as to whether they will work or not, but you cant tell until after you put your money into them. The quality of the people now living here, in my opinion, has gone downhill. They dont care about other residents, they rev engines, have very loud conversations outside late at night and throw trash everywhere expecting someone else to clean it up. People leave their bags of trash in the hallways and the "new carpet" is already filthy with stains from leaky bags and from maintenance remodeling the apts when people move out. Management is also very lax about repairing the doors and locks for access to the outside. We are told when we move in that this is a "secured" complex. Well, anyone can just walk in. The only door they seem to maintain is the one by the office. Which always works and is secure. Management is also very big on making promises or saying they will take care of stuff, but then never follow up on it. This place used to be a deal because it was cheaper than the other apts in the area. But now, its the same price as everyone else and you really dont get your money's worth. Oh yeah, and they dont seem to be able to figure out how to make the timer for the outside lights work properly. We have had to bbq at night by flashlight. How hard can it be to figure a timer out''!!!!
