First of all, the sexual predators that did reside at the Perigee apartments are no longer there! We tenants fixed that problem right away. There were two.... Is the management supposed to look up Megan s Law for every potential tenant' Should they do criminal background checks for domestic violence, theft, warrants for not paying traffic tickets etc.' Come on people, if this were the case, none of us would have a place to live! Its bad enough we are on the hook when they look on our credit report to see if we pay our bills....That is what is most important! It is up to the parent, like me to check Megan s Law for my address. Again, when discovered, they were removed and have since relocated.
Furthermore, Shoory, The Manager happens to be a very caring and compassionate woman. If you are going to be late on rent, JUST TELL HER! She sympathizes with each of us. She does not want to evict anyone! This is the last thing she wants! She implemented a Friday Night Movie Night for everyone in the building to get together and watch movies, socialize and get to know one another. Which I have to say is working quite well! Repairs are made within a reasonable amount of time. I go straight to the maintenance men for my problems, I do not bother Shoory. Our building IS clean, and kept up. It is the piggish ways of inconsiderate people that leave it dirty. Imagine what their apartments look like inside!
Bottom line, all you that have complained, are all tenants who chose not to pay rent and not communicate with Shoory of your dilemma. It is your own fault, so stop exaggerating!

I lived in the Perigee Apts from 2008 - 2009. I agree with AnnLegal's review. It is right on. Shoory is a very compationate manager and she truly cares about her tennants. The only reason I left the Perigee apts was due to employment. I would rent there again if the opportunity came along. Get real people!
