Everybody at the leasing office appear very friendly and professional but after they get you to sign that lease you are nobody to them. They are very unfriendly, rude, and unprofessional employees. Our A/C did not work properly because the unit is too small to cool the whole place, the gates are broken so you really are not paying for gated community, the pools go out of service, and I can just go on and on. We only lived there for 2months free and get this, on top of all the inconvenience we still have to pay $6000.

You got 2 months free and then decided you want to move - hmmm - lets see, if you sign a LEASE and break it early, you are responsible for the term of that lease - look at your agreement, so don't complain! Residents are the ones that cause the problems not the staff, they run into the gates, throw dog poop in the pool and destroy the property - hey keep an eye on your kids! This is my third year living here and my family is happy, we have had no problems with the staff, and truthfully, they are very accommadating and friendly, so get over it and move!!!!

No we did not get 2months free we paid for those "free" months. That is great that it worked out for your family but it did not for ours. I am not having my husband pay for what we were promised. We were promised for a "gated community" , "AC", etc.,etc. And I won't get over it until we get our money back and we have moved out. You must relate to these people because you sound rude. I am very concerned for the older people and young children who are living in these units that are not cool enough and not livable due to the weather been so hot. The leasing office should make sure that the tenants are been accommodated. The agreement did not have that tenants destroy property but it did have very strict rules which we were happy with but obviously the leasing office does not know how to manage or communicate. Anyhow, I am not worried about it anymore but will take action because I care about the elderly and the children. I am happy now because we live in our own house and we don't have to rent anylonger. Good luck Anonymous.

My husband and I are elderly and we live in the Colony Apts. Our air conditioner works fine so please do not concern yourself with us. About that 2 months free rent! Why is it that people moving in are offered 2 months free rent, but when we signed our lease for our 2nd year, we were not offered anything. It seems to me that the management should prefer to offer incentives for people to STAY with them once they realize that we are good tenants! Our needs are few, we bother no one, and we have NEVER been late with our monthly rent check. The way we get appreciated for all this is with a rate increase for the next year!!!!!!!!! Management should know that is would be cheaper and better business practice to see how to keep their old tenants instead of having such a huge turnover. We don't get a chance to know our neighbors because they move out as quickly as they move in. They could charge more to get in, but once in, they should be willing to keep you. This will probably be our last year living here. The yearly increase is too high and it appears that the free rent is attracting people who could not afford to live here otherwise. Colony Apts. are getting what they are asking for, i.e. people who won't pay their bills, do not have much of a moral ethic, do not have much of a work ethic, do not raise their children to have values and respect for others, and are basically just not who other people would choose to live next to! As for the gates...why don't they just take them OFF!!!!!!! They never work right, the tenants just abuse them, and they serve no purpose. With all the $$ they are making by raising rent and spending to fix the always broken ones, they could hire a guard to stand at the gate!!!!!!!!
