Colony Townhomes DONT MOVE THERE!!!! From: SAYNOTOTHECOLONY Date posted: 7/25/2008 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2007   I lived there for 13 months, and couldnt wait to get out!!!! I also had one of the PHASE 3 units and when i first moved in, it wasnt too bad. After about 3 months though, they finished the rest of the units and thats when the problems all started. GHETTO rats moved in and started destroying the place. I went to the pool up there once when i first moved in, and it was nice. Everytime you tried to go after that you would see families all over the place as they parked their car out of the gate and pushed the "security" open and hopped in the pool. It was rediculous. Even complaining to management never did anything. I actually had a friend of mine move in also, in the bottom section and it was MUCH MUCH worse. Dealing drugs and ghetto hood rats hanging out by the mailboxes. OHHHH and forget asking to have anything done to the apartments, good luck. Even though i was there for 13 months, and never once HUNG ANYTHING ON THE WALLS (i lived alone and never was home much anyway) i had to pay to repair the walls from holes'''''' 350.00 dollars''' UMMMMM I WAS THE FIRST TENANT PEOPLE!!! ohhh which reminds me, the walls in the garage were never finished being painted and they claim that i did that''' half painted''' yeah i hung up the new drywall and never painted it''' YEAH RIGHT!!! Seriously if you think of moving here, good luck and dont say no one warned you first!!!! OHHH AND FORGET HAVING ANY FRIENDS OVER!!!!! they cant park anywhere, because people save spots and park broken cars in spaces. Commercial vehicles arent supposed to be parked there, but even complaining about for days, never get a response. Unless you park in your garage forget getting a spot. And as a side note, the TANDEM garage is really small, and not very wide. I have a MAZDA and i measured it one day, with the car lined up in the door, there is 4 inches of room on both sides. Be extremely careful pulling into the garage, i have seen alot of people scratch the hell out of their cars
