LIVING NIGHTMARE!!!! STAY AWAY

After reading others' comments, I agree. This place is a living hell. There is a cockroach and ant problem. It's noisy from the upstairs tenant, the busy street outside my window which I can hear traffic moving all night from both bedrooms, and it's ghetto land outside. I have never lived in such a dump and this is turning out to be the biggest mistake of my life. I am not low income. I only chose this place because I had to move on very short notice after selling my house. I'm paying $1405, thievary! Below is a letter of complaint I'm getting ready to send.

--------
This letter is a complaint for the service Ive received from Park Sierra Apartments. Prior to signing a contract for a month-to-month lease in May 2003, I asked two times the Park Sierra representative at the leasing office if Park Sierra Apartments have had any cockroach problem. It was and is extremely important to me I dont enter an apartment with cockroaches. She said no, no problems with cockroaches. I find it hard to believe she knew nothing when only a month of living at these apartments, Terminix is being sent to four of the Park Sierra buildings to place roach baits. Within a couple weeks of moving in Park Sierra, I saw my first cockroach. Ive been forced to leave all the lights on 24 hours a day, and the AC running to keep the apartment cool to prevent any invading infestation of my belongings. I have to keep all food in the fridge, and the cabinets empty. I moved from a clean mountain home in Acton, waiting to move into a newly constructed house only to be concerned I may bring an infestation with me to the new house. I am thoroughly disgusted. I am paying $1405 a month for basically a run-down apartment with cockroaches, on a busy street where I can hear traffic all night while I sleep. These apartments also have an enormous ant problem. I am only glad that I have to endure this apartment only nine more weeks before I move out.

I hope Park Sierra will take corrective measure to ensure their representatives are HONEST to their tenants.
