I really love this place! I went into the office the other day to put in a small work request and got into a conversation with one of the leasing people. I overheard the tail end of a conversation with an " undirsireable" resident that was talking about the number of kids in the Complex and how its getting larger and louder. The leasing girl was getting her head chewed off by this person for enforcing a rule that is in the resident lease! After the "undesirable" resident STOMRED out of the office I stepped in to give my work request, and with a big smile on her face trying to maintane her composer, she asked how she could help me. We then got into a conversation about how no matter what her and her staff do they always get yelled at. If they tell the kids to stop playing then the parents yell at them for not having a place for them to play(what do they expect the YMCA') If they don't enforce the rule (in the lease about skatboards, bikes and rollerblades) then other people complain about the kids causing problems such as starting a fire in a trash bin (mentioned in the other letter) or begin too loud or not watching for cars. If these parents would take the time to watch their kids or take them to a PARK then maybe this wouldn't have gotten to the point of it causing a problem for everyone. But that's just my oppinion . . what do I know. As we continued to talk I told her how happy I was to live here and how great I thought the property and leasing staff was. She then referred me to this web site to submit a POSATIVE review.
It seems as though people only have energy enough to put people down or yell at them, so the leasing agent suggested that I came here to tell others, who come to this site to get info about the complex, the other side of the story. I've lived her for over a year now and I love the complex. I feel safe, its clean, the maintance team is quicker at fixing things then any other place I have EVER been (usually less the 48 hours!) its pretty quite aside from quick amtrak that goes by or the low freeway noise off in the distance and the ocassional children playing noises too. I also happen to think the office staff is great. Like I said they have always been nice, inviting and undertanding and able to fix any problems I've had. I have heard the manager does work for two properties, but I do know that the staff in the office can give these complainers or shall I say "undesirable" residents :-) just as much help as the manager can.
People need to read the rules in their lease before the freak out, stop yelling because yelling will get you nowhere and learn to have manners. Haven't any of these people ever worked for customer service' If you give people respect, or are curtious and polite to them your problem will get resolved alot faster. I've worked for customer service for eight years and whenever a person disrespects, yells at me or is rude I'm alot LESS likly to want to jump to my feet to help them out. I'm I the only person who gets this''' Ya'll need to find something better to do with your time then sit around complaining about things.
Sincerly,
Happy Resident
