Not Worth It!!!! From: TT_TT Date posted: 5/11/2005 Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2005 3 responses   I been living here for about 14 months and I have to admit this place is horrible. Parking has to be one of the worse I have ever seen. If you arrive after 9 there is a slim chance that you will find any kind of parking. On top of that the street is very unsafe. Lots of cars get hit by unknown cars and a lot of cars get broken into. On top of that the police from time to time will park on the corner giving out tickets to people who cross the double yellow line to leave the place. I thought they where there to protect us but it seems like they are there for the easy tickets. They do provide garages but they are very narrow where it makes it difficult for any larger size vehicle to enter. Since there are a lot of units some garages share the same frequency and others can open your garage. I will never leave my garage open unattended due to the large amounts of thief. Even though it is a gated community the gates are always open due to it being "broken." There is a box in front so you can open the gate with a code and I have requested to be added onto it for the past two years and they still have not added me onto it, because they say it is "broken." The gate is a joke. The apartments are decent since they are fairly new, but there is a huge ant and spider problem. Every summer I kill at least 4-5 Huge spiders a week...no joke. And when it rains ants come from every corner and hole in the apartment. The management is a Huge joke also. They really don't care about anything. After every lease the rent will go up dramatically. I started out at $1,070 a month for a one bedroom and one year later I now pay $1,290. The neighborhood did manage to get slightly better due to a lot of bad seeds leaving where before there was vandalism, drinking, and a lot of noise almost everyday. Don't leave stuff on your patio or else it will get stolen.
