This is an updated review, The ones below this one are from 2004 & that was when Legacy was the group in charge of the complex up until about 4 months ago, That is when it all changed & not for the better..
Sorry about the spelling or type oýs but I was in a rush
Been living here for a little over a year! Have a 3 bedroom town home with a 2.5 bath. This property was being managed by Legacy & now itýs Conam. About 45% if not more of the tenants here have pets. The front page of the lease says you can't have pets but the last page of the lease says you can have a dog under 25lb' We have never had a problem with our kids playing outside etc. Well Conam wants to make it so my kids/your kids can't ride there bikes/scooters/skateboards outside. If seen they will be asked to stop riding. You can only ride your bike to & from the park which is a City park down the street. As for pets, I know they sent a 3day notice to a small group of people whom have pets however did not send them to anyone else even though they know there are allot more tenants with pets. In fact the old office manager still lives here & has not received a notice. That is because she is friends with the new office manager. We are also being told we can't have anything in our garages but 2 cars. Is this crazy or what'' So if you don't mind paying for public storage then I guess you are ok. I park my car in my garage every night & my other on the street. There are tenants that can't even fit a car into the garage & they do nothing about it!! The grounds are nice if you live by the rental office however if you drive down Dune lane you will see the difference. They also say there is a Basketball Court! They only thing I know of is even close is at the end of Dune lane itýs a Pole/backboard with no net at least last time I saw it. So if you don't mind playing at the top of a hill & can run to get the ball before it goes all the way down the street then your ok. PLEASE remember before you sign your lease ask about the place make sure you read the lease being there are many contradicting items. If you have kids & or a pet this is not the place to be unless they donýt ride bikes etc & you can hide your pet from the manager. So to some it up, nice unit well at least ours is Kids canýt really play outside. Pets' There here & there is no way that they are going to enforce this with everyone so bring your own. Office staff is ok manager thinks her @#$ don't stink. Conam is making a lot of tenants really upset with the way they are handling things. What they should do is send a letter to every tenant letting them know that they are going to try an enforce these rules however they canýt seem to do that' If you have any questions about Conam please contact there main office @ Tel: (858) 614-7200 or just drive down Dune lane on any weekend & talk with anyone of the residents that you see. They will tell you pretty much the same thing.
Anyone interested in contacting the Fair Housing Dept please do so regarding the pet issue & them trying to enforce rules only with cretin tenents.
By the way there is also a couple that was living here & found out that there was mold in there babies room, Called the office & told them. The office did nothing about it only forced the couple to move out. Well now that unit is ready to be rented out again & has not been taken care of.
Read the post for Park Sierra tittled ( New managment not that much better) they are also under the control of Conam, I have to admit Park Sierra is like the slums but it still goes to show that Conam is not doing a good job.
