I have lived here a little over a year and I really like Archstone Pacific in Carlsbad. I first fell in love with all the new roads here since I also ride a motorcyle. The roads are well planned, traffic flows and the area is fabulously beautiful. Every day I get to see the ocean, the Lagoon (sunsets are fabulous) and smell the strawberry fields, the Flower Fields. Who would not want to live in Carlsbad' The floor plan that I have is adequate. Washer/dryer, built in microwave all brand new appliances that you would expect from a high end complex. Storage was a bit tight but I did rent a garage and the "overflow" now has it's own home.
Noise is not a problem where I live as a matter of fact it's quite quite and serene, lots of birds chirping first thing in the mornings. Occasionally, I hear my neighbors but it is not sustained noise. My double pane windows and very tight construction help with that. I actually don't always lock the front door and feel comfortable with that. I have even left house keys in the door overnight and no problems at all. I see security patrolling at night and yes the main gate occasionally malfunctions but it's promptly repaired. I keep the sliding door screens closed due to living so close to the lagoon, have never seen more than a moth, services at the office are personable and friendly. Maintenance is good, friendly and prompt. I enjoy living here and invite great people to be neighbors here.

This review was obviously written by the community manager. She uses the same exact dialect in person. The fact that staff regularly posts false reviews to this site should tell you something about this place..ie: Don't live here.
