The last 2 people must be confused. I have lived here 3 months- the manager is awesome- friendly and kind. He showed me apts. even though the office was closed for the holidays. The grounds are beautifully kept- unfortunately I have seen beer cans in bushes on occasion (why anyone would throw beer cans in bushes instead of the garbage next to the grill is beyond me) but within an hour they are cleaned up by maintenance.
The laundry room is very clean and requires no quarters. You can charge dollars to a card- very state of the art.
I have not seen a spec of mold in my place.
The 2 block walk to the beach can't be beat. Carlsbad Coast apts. is one of the nicest buildings in the village. Rent is very reasonable. Noise' yeah the walls are a little thin, but that will be in every apt building so if you want complete silence, go buy a house.
