To be completely honest I think that most of the people writing reviews here are doing it to be cool or something. It's like I know that talking smack is cool and all but be serious here! The Rising Glen Apartments are by no means a luxury apartment complex, but they do offer what I think is the best alternative to paying over $1500 for some 1bedroom somewhere else in this area. Every other apartment building to the north and east of Rising Glen is in the ghetto. Everything south and to the west is retartedly over-priced. The location of Rising Glen is very quiet, and far from any majorly traveled roads that could cause traffic and noise. It is also very close to 2 major highways, making it easy to travel to and from. Parking can be odd for first-timers, but anyone expecting to invite lots of people over and have room for all of them to park is crazy. Do some research, not a single apartment complex in all of southern california that isn't retired living, has crappy parking if you're paying under $1350 for a 1 bedroom. Seriously, do the research. Im not lying! Regarding complaints over maintenence issues, I have lived in the Rising Glen Apartments for over 2 years, and never once have I had a problem getting something fixed. Of course I have never had a disposal, or dishwasher go bad on me, but I also try my best to take care of what I have. One of the first things you do as a new renter is evaluate the apartment on your first day to record any previous damages that may be in the apartment so as not to penelize you for them when you move out. Also, it clearly states that in the leasing agreement, The Rising Glen apartments are liable on their own time, and the renter is only obligated to immidiate service in an emergency. That means folks that they can fix things whenever they want, on their time not yours! If you want to feel like your the center of the universe, I would try paying for the $1500 version of your apartment somewhere in Encinitas, or Del Mar. We live in Southern California people. It's expensive to live here, and for the price we pay at Rising Glen, we're already lucky just being here. Im beginning to think that most of the people writing the reviews are either younger, "My daddy pays for everything's" or old people who should be living in retirement communities. Rising Glen apartments are a great place to live and I would recommend them to anyone. Also as a point of advice for those having trouble with the management there, Treat others as you would want them to treat you! A little ass-kissing goes a long way with some people! :P Happy Hunting!

This review seems pretty suspect. Sounds like this person works for the place. It's probably that Cunty Black girl in the office.

Yeah this is definitely one of the property managers. I think i have even heard it recited word for word.

This definitely sounds like the property manager. It's in a quiet place next to 2 major highways and El Camino (a very busy street), it's right next to the mall! Not to mention the drunken drivers coming from the Carlsbad village bars. Seen two wreck, and a police a chase on foot with one of them.

This has to be someone who works for this complex. No way can this person actually be a residen and mean what they say. Ass kissing gets you no where here! We all try to take care of the appliances we have in our aprtments. Something like that is hard to do when the appliance is 20 years old. I know several people who pay just as much if not less for a bigger place in the same area. If this is the property manager, maybe you should think about changing your "I'm better than everyone else" attitude and then maybe people would review your crap ass complex a little better.

BELIEVE THE FORMER TENANTS WE KNOW THE TRUTH. THE PERSON WHO WROTE THIS IS PROBABLY ONE OF THE WORKING GIRLS WHO LIVES HERE. THIS PLACE IS DANGEROUS AND HAS NUMEROUS CRIMINALS CALLING IT HOME. DON'T MOVE IN HERE NO MATTER THE RENTAL PRICE. iF YOU DO IT WILL BE A NIGHTMARE THE WHOLE TIME YOU LIVE HERE.
