As a resident of Santa Fe Ranch, overall, I would not recommend moving in. The walls are so thin you cannot avoid hearing your neighbors conversations, snoring, and their embarrassing private moments--which means they are listening to you, too. If you live on the ground floor, be ready to hear a creaking ceiling at every footstep made by your upstairs neighbor. The toilets back-up regularly, so calculate in the extra monthly cost of Drano. Though, the Building Maintenance crew are very nice, knowledgeable and prompt. The Apt. Managers aren't mean, just apathtic to any complaints. The apartment patios are not lighted, so they are a crime scene waiting to happen.

wholeheartedly agree and wish I would have known about this site before I moved in!!! Santa Fe Ranch advertises as "Luxury Apartment Homes." HA! Luxury means you don't actually SEE the person in the restroom below/behind/next to you, you just HEAR them. The smell of tobacco smoke is enough to GAG and soaks through the walls/ceilings if you are unlucky enough to live next to/near a smoker. Already in 2006, there have been multiple break-ins/robbery, car theft, vandalism, ad nauseum. They accept dogs/cats for a steep deposit and there are people constantly in front of your apartment with dogs doing their business. It is not a safe nor sophisticated place to live and I do not recommend it. |
