I lived in waterstone apartments (Carlsbad) for six months, rent was too expensive and I decided to move out. Initially I gave a deposit of $400 and since the apartment was clean and in very good shape after living there for such a small amount of time, I thought I was going to get at least 50% of my deposit back. Instead I received a letter in the mail for $700 for a final statement. They claim my carpet had to be replaced and that a complete panting job needed to be done, this was NOT true. When I argue that maybe they where confusing my apartment with someone else s they say the carpet had already been changed and that I had no choice but to pay the already stated amount.

In addition of having a lack of Integrity, honesty, Professionalism and, helpfulness; the installations lack cleaning (pool and other common areas), maintenance (the barbeque was severally damage), and the fitness area has less than nothing functional.

Honestly this people have no shame and will get your money one way or another. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I am an honest person and I had no choice but to pay because I cannot have afford to have my credit been damage. Any positive review you ever see about this place is because this people write them on purpose to make themselves look good, don t be fool by their fancy webpage and their fake descriptions.

i do agree to this im currently living in these apartments ive had many problems first the heaters didnt work when i first moved in.then ive recently tried adopting a dog when i took the paper work up there to have it looked at they told me that i couldnt have the dog because of the weight of it, this dog being a LAB. later that day i saw 3 dogs living under me when i was told a max of 2 dogs per apartment. also saw 2 GERMAN SHEPARDS in the SAME COMPLEX I LIVE IN!! absolutly absurd and wouldnt ever recommened these apartments to anyone THUMBS DOWN
