I have lived in many places before coming to waterstone .. but had worst experience ever ... there lease terms are very stringent .... front staff dont care about there customer ... even if u r one day (Few hour) late for ur rent payment .. they will charge u extra money .. without considering any thing (Worst customer service ever) ... when I moved in here they charged me high rate for my apartment .. I had no choice to take it as I was new to this place .. within 2 month price rate dropped sharply ... and they denied to adjust, saying that this is business ... all the rules in the contract is for landlord if u break the lease u r like dead man here .... I am counting my days to finish my lease and get out of this unfriendly horrible place ... I will recommend this place to any one .... I strongly advice to read lease before signing .. and ask them if u find something unreasonable ...

No apartment drops your rent if you signed the lease for another rate. That's why they have a lease. That's what you agreed to pay, it's not their fault that you had bad timing. I was late several days on my rent, but I let them know what was going on with my situation and kept them informed and I was not charged one penny in late fees. Did you ever think that you are approaching them wrong? I work in Customer Service and if someone talks to me like I'm crazy I'm not going to do anything nice for them. Maybe the real problem with Waterstone Carlsbad is you.

Really! so interesting because I was late too because I was just transfer from a different state and I was going to be 5 days late in my rent and they said no problem we will hold your check -we understand your situation but is going to cost you 50 dlls for late fee.. I believe kendralou07 that you must be one of the ladies working in the front office or a very good friend of them.. this place SUCKS do not move here you will regret it...

Yeah, I think too this woman kendralaou works there. This management is lying all the time. This was my worst experience. Luckily I rented there only 6 MONTHS! Thank GOD!!! You can often see people moving. Because everyone run out!!!! They are not maintaining place AT ALL!!!!!
