I finally gave my notice this month. I have been here for maybe 5 years, I am not sure, a really long time. A neighbor told me about this site, so here it goes...We used to have a great manager named Peggy. Peggy and her husband managed and maintained these apartments for years, then quit one day, I am not even sure why. What I do know is that the place has gone to hell since they left. We have had so many different people in the office since Peggy & her husband left thatt no one knows left from right. I have had a work order that is 3 weeks out! It is a leaking sink. But now I have mold under my sink too....The old maintenance guy would have fixed it that day or by the next day at the latest. No one is ever in the office, and when I call to ask about my work order, no one knows what I am talking about, so they tell me they are sorry and will send someone right away....still I wait. The new people moving in look like they moved from Compton, LA. Cars are stolen from here, and cars stolen from somewhere else are left here. The pool area is filled with alcoholics on the weekends and trash on the weekdays. Quiet' What is that' Between people fighting in the laundry room at 1am, the getto cars bumping their stereos all days and night, the kids running and screaming I dont get any peace at all! Check this out - There is a little picnic area by a little creek that used to be a great place to sit and read or whatever... I went down to this picnic area to read last week. It was covered with trash, so because I live here too, I was picking it up - someone has to, right' When I stopped is when I saw 3 used condoms - 1 in the grass by the table, and 2 floating in the what used to be pretty creek. So, thats it, I give up. I am moving from what used to be a great apartment, to one I will settle for, because the management company can't hire someone decent to work here. Good luck neighbors! odusyNYCcZ7yL3Bj5JtG

I am the manager of this complex and this is a bogus report. I have searched my records of notices during this period, and no one fits this description of being a resident for this length of time. This complex is under new on-site management, and WE DO KNOW what is going on here. I highly disagree with this review, and if this is a current disgruntled resident, please see me about what is going on with your apartment, and why you are unhappy. As for those looking for an apartment, I assure you this is a nice community.

I agree with foxworthmanager, this is a fabricated story to bias tenants and possible tenants! I am suprised you did not mention the Apartment complex that you actually work for.

Your claims are so false and fabricated that an amateur could expose you: for example

1.The manager has no control over cars being stolen, and left on the property prior to the act.

2."The pool area is filled with alcoholics" So if someone partakes of an alchol beverage or 2 on their weekend, they are alcoholics?

3."The new people moving in look like they moved from Compton, LA." [No comment :-)]

4."The getto cars bumping their stereos all days and night, the kids running and screaming I dont get any peace at all!--What is that? Between people fighting in the laundry room at 1am"

So uhhh you dont even work I take it? seeing that you are aware of what goes on 24-7, even at 1:am do you even sleep? and you must have lived right next to the laundry room?

5."When I stopped is when I saw 3 used condoms - 1 in the grass by the table, and 2 floating in the what used to be pretty creek."

Floating in the creek? well the creek flows at a pretty good pace, and objects as lite as condoms would not float!

Foxworth is a nice Apartment complex, and they are doing the best they can to make it a better place for people to live, I would recommend it to anyone seeking a place to live in the Sacramento area

The fact that a resident was compelled to write on this site out of frustration and disgust with the management, should be obvious to other prospective tenants to stay away. The are plenty of low class people in property management that are very comfortable living amongst the 'Jerry Springer" qualified applicants. This is true for every complex on this site that has any terrible truth written about it. Apartment complexes in this area are becoming ghettos because there are so many lazy and anti-social managers. The warnings you read are for those of society who still live a normal life and appreciate a safe community.

I've been a tenant here for nearly 3 years. Yes, cars do get stolen in apartment complex parking lots, this is a fact of life. it's been 1.5 years since. The newer staff has been outstanding in their execution of policies and have always enforced the safety codes to the utmost; they've even discussed issues with me :) If you are looking for a quiet place to live with great staff (yes, the maintenance coordinator here is as outstanding as the manager is polite and easy-going)and good neighbors, this is your place. The pool has just received a brand new safety gate for the pool, and as always the grounds landscaping is maintained very frequently. There are all types of people here, and all of them show the utmost respect to each other. There are no alcoholics near the pool, possibly due to the fact alcohol is prohibited near that area. The road combing through this complex allows for you children to play safely, but not so obtrusive that it's a hassle to get to your home. I sincerely applaud the efforts and success the new management staff has obtained over the last year and a half. In hopes to live here longer, at these prices Foxworth should at the top of your list. One Happy Tenant

I have lived here for over 2 years now, and I couldn't disagree with this reviewer more. Sometimes in the summer, yes, there are kids playing outside. (Shocking, I know, kids playing outside!) The grounds ARE well maintained, as another tenant mentioned. The neighbors are friendly. I am a night owl of sorts--I usually don't go to bed until at least 1 (and yes, I work an 8-5 job full time). So I know for a fact there is hardly any noise in this complex, especially at night. I feel safe walking around here at night, too, as a young female living alone. I can't hear my neighbors talking in their apartments because the soundproofing is really good. The manager Michelle is fantastic. Answers calls quickly or if the machine goes to voicemail, will call you back ASAP. I have had a few clogged drains, and the maintenance guy Mal comes out the same day you call to fix it. Work orders are done within a matter of same day or maybe 1 day depending on YOUR schedule. NO waiting for months for a leaky faucet or clogged toilet. And he is on call 24/7. He even let me into my apartment one night when I locked myself out on the porch! This is truly a great, quiet, friendly, homey complex, with excellent management and soundproofing, and I would recommend it to a family member. That's how highly I think of it.
