Marconi Gardens East

Iam moving From: nothappy4800 Date posted: 12/26/2007 Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2007   Rent is low for the square footage and grounds are well landscaped. Washers and dryers are either too old or continually out of order. Getting maintenance is like pulling teeth. They either forget about you or make promises they never keep.There are a lot of section 8 tenants and illegal aliens who are freeloading here. Marconi Ave has gangbanger types walking up and down the street day and night. They have a security partol who are worthless, they either don't show when called or show up 1-3 hrs later,so I just call the cops if there is a problem. There are loud sirens continually day and night down Marconi Ave.Also, there is a halfway house about half mile away.There are loud police helicopters continually in this neighborhood mostly due to low rent shoddy apartments across the street. I would not recommend moving here, I have found another apartment I'll be living in soon.
