I just moved here to parkwood, and all the residents are very nice and keep to themselves. I love being so close to all the shopping/schools colleges and resturants! The staff is very professional and friendly and is always in a great mood! when there is something wrong iwth the apartment they get to it right away. They moved me in with great incentives, and im happy to call parkwood my home!

The only way they get new tenants is by offering incentives and by renting to those who are into noise drugs and worse. If your not into noisy tweekers and worse you'll change your opinion very soon.

As far as I have seen, They have a very very professionally staff that is knowledgeable about their community.I do not believe that is correct. The complex is professionally managed and if there was a problem with noise and drugs it needs to be brought to the managers attention immediately and if anyone knows about the community's polices , that is something im sure they will look at and evict whoever if trafficing drugs, and re-read the sentence that you wrote. ? All communities , all apartment communities have incentives to get people to move-in and it helps people save money. Anyone who meets the qualifications may live here. It is the community of which you make it be, but isnt the commmunity that you made it sound like.

Amazinf how the response from 4/5/2009 sounds exactly like a response written by the staff 2 reviews prior. Wow... even this original review sounds like the management of Parkwood. It's nice that they are proud of their community, but they don't live here, and I bet maintenance will actually show up within weeks of the request... unlike the rest of us.

I lived at Parkwood for three years when FPI was managing the place. Yes, they give those incentives, where they move people in for $99, and then they have to evict them a few months later. We had like 12 different managers and about 20 different assistant managers when FPI was managing the place. It was a revolving door so no one ever knew what was going on. The apartment next to me burned down, the fire spread to many apartments in my building, I was the only apartment not burned out. I ended up on the news in my PJs that day. The complex never offered to move me to another unit, I had to live through months and months of construction noise. The lady FPI sent out to deal with the fire did not care one thing about all the displaced people nor about all of us being so scared right after the fire. She only cared to ask us for information to do her job for her. It was so mean. My neighbors were one guy on drugs and drunk all the time, never worked, he may have been the one who caused the fire in the complex, I had to talk with his lawyer to help him get rich off of it. He bought a condo with the money he got from it. Another neighbor was on SSI, on many meds and the county had to check on him two days a week. I had another neighbor on SSI and welfare who snuck in a pit bull dog and the management let the dog stay. I had another neighbor who had fights all the time with her boyfriend, that ended badly and scared most of us. I had another neighbor who was being evicted and moved a homeless woman with four little kids into her apartment. They would take off to go do drugs and leave the four little children running the complex alone, chasing the pitbull dog, which went swimming in the pool, cars were almost hitting the little kids, the management company had so many different people working there no one would do anything to help the four children. I had a homeless guy parked in the parking lot a few feet from my apartment window, I had to call the police and have him removed from the premises. There was a drunk older guy snuck in the place living with his grandkids who stole cars and he stole my license plates off my car, tried to steal my car, and he stole gas from a lot of people in the complex. I used to see young girls sitting on the sidewalk crying, kicked to the curb on their cell phones all the time. It's a lovely place. I heard there is a new management company running the place, but it was the nightmaire from hell when I lived there. I had six leases with the place and was never late on my rent, yet they refused to give me a seventh lease because I complained about the crime. I had a neighbor who had been diagnosed with full blown Alzheimer's disease who would wonder around and think strangers were his sons and dump water on people, and he may very well be who started the fire. All they cared about was getting the apartments rented, they had a very high vacancy rate when I left. Thank god they didn't renew my lease and I got out of there.
