Decent Apartments for the Money
From: kevin25aDate posted: 2/18/2009
Years at this apartment: 2008 - 2009
Im not entirely sure based on the previous reviews if the managment has changed since they were written, however I have found the Managment and maintenence team to be extremely responsive when needed.
The Apartments are older (Built in 1960's) but overall well maintained.
They are not the quietest apartments ive ever lived in (Avoid apartments on the ends of the buildings, as the security doors slam quite loudly at all hours of the day and night)
Parking is secured by gates, and security company patrols the complex from Dark to Dawn, keeping the grounds and viehicles safe. There is no onsite guest parking, which means any guests you have vist you will need to park on the very congested street in front of the complex.
The laundry rooms have 4 washers and dryers each, and are usually busy, but if persistant you can get in and get out quickly.
This is not a complex for Children. They have strict rules barring children from playing in the common areas, laundry areas, and hallways. If you have kids you will spend a lot of time taking them to the nearby parks.
Given the expensive nature of the bay area, 1150 a month (with a 1 year lease)for a 1000 sgft 2 bed 2 bath apartment is extremely inexpensive. These are decent apartments, in a decent area for a decent price.
