We have lived in Lakeview for 2 years. It is older than some nearby properties, but lower in rent. Officialls, pets under 25 pounds are allowed, although some tenants have large dogs. Uncovered parking is ample, with 18 garages on site (6 month wait to get one, $75 extra monthly fee). Backs onto a lake with C&R fishing, close to upper and lower Bidwell. Office staff is generally helpful. Maintenance is very fast on repairs. My longest wait for a repair was 24 hours. I've had repair personnel at my unit before I could walk back from the office after putting in the request. Fast! The grounds are not perfect - they didn't water for a while, and are now removing dead trees, reseeding grass, etc.
Units are older, about mid 80s construction. Appliances are overdue for updates, as are some of the paint schemes inside and out. Wallls are a bit thin. Laundry rooms just redone with new flooring, and high capacityu washers/dryers ($1/load). Most tenants are nice, others are just uninterested. Generally a quiet place - its too far from downtown/campus to have much of a party scene
