I lived at Village Oaks for a year and found it's a well maintained, middle class complex with a nice office staff and good facilities. I have no complaints about how the grounds, parking areas, exercise facility, pool and childrens areas are maintained.
The tenant qualifications are really stringent which seems to keep out the bad element so, I would recommend this complex for anyone with or without kids to live.
