Yo!

It's okay...here's why

1) Henry the maintenance guy is AWESOME! He is so nice and when he says he'll be back in 5/10/20/whatever minutes, he will be. When he says "the a/c company will come by on Tuesday", you can rely on that. HOWEVER, getting a work order to Henry is a problem. Annie in the office is useless. Sue is just kind of dumb. You really have to pester them to get the work order right and in the right place so it will be followed up on. I reported a complaint with my heater in November and didn't get the thing fixed until late January.

2) Parking is not bad. I don't know why people complain. You get 1 assigned carport per apartment, and ONE extra parking permit. Finding a space in addition to the carport can be a pain but it's not really. We have 2 cars, and have only ONCE had to park outside the gates..

3) Depending on where you are, neighbors can be good or bad. Where I am, it's pretty nice. The neighbors are respectful and nice. No loud music, no banging on anything. But, I can hear when the flush the toilet or take a shower, so I can assume that if you got stuck by someone loud, it would be a real problem.

4) There used to be a problem with the gates. Kids would push it while it was closing and jam it. Then it would either stick open or stay shut. GOOD NEWS IS I caught them doing it and reported it to the office. Their mother got a cease and desist notice. The gates haven't been non-functional since then!!

5) I have never had my car broken into. The stubborn kids hit my car with a skateboard just to be jerks and set off the alarm. But, these are also the kids that used to constantly break the gates.

6) One more thing which isn't really important, but it kind of gives you an idea of how smart their staff is. They leave notices about apartment issues, maintenence, and other stuff. The notes are always typed but contain really poor grammar. You might not judge the entire complex on this, but it kind of shows you that the people there aren't the brightest in the world. Spell check goes a long way.

Hope this helps someone! :)
