I moved here with the impression that they were nicely upkept apts. The management is horrible. You have to pull teeth to get anything fixed. Paint inside apt. is slopped on, over hinges, fixtures, cabinets, vertical blinds come to the very edge of the window ensuring NO PRIVACY and bright light when blinds are closed. Mateniance staff is horrible, electrical outlets have sparked on me on several occasions, wiring is old and faulty, plumbing is horrible. Security guard stares into my apt. ALL THE TIME and drives off when he sees me catch him, real creepy, it was brought up to the management and they don't care. Noisy neighbors. If you complain, they tell the tenant who complained and hopefully they don't come to your door yelling at you...they did to me. Don't rent here! It is expensive...compared to other apts in the area for the same price, and do NOT even compare. Do yourself a favor and do not rent here.

Here is an honest portrait of Park West. Staff is friendly including Grounds Keepers. Exterior appearance of Complex (front) is kept up in hopes of generating sales, as you move deeper into the complex the overall upkeep is poor. Laundry facilities have potential but actual washer/dryers are not kept up and clothes usually are not fresh. Pools are not bad although staff does not enforce any of the posted policies. There were recent apartment fires one involving faulty outlets and one due to charcoal bbq. Electrical is a huge problem throughout complex, most outlets are installed upside down and have not been maintenanced in years. Charcoal BBQ's have been outlawed by Staff but rule is not enforced, this is a very serious concern due to patio's being constructed of old wood. Speed limits are posted throughout but are not enforced, it is a matter of time before a child gets hit and hurt if not killed. Childern run free and play throughout internal streets and are not monitored by staff or security. I never felt afraid of the community at Park West as I don't believe the tenants are dangerous but I do feel that the priorities of the Staff are/were on the wrong things. I believe there is too much staff and not enough output, the owners allow too much spending on useless projects. I believe the complex has alot of potential, if the Manager would take a minute and hold the staff accountable and follow through on things the overall condition of the complex would improve.
