I have been renting here for about 7 months and I am so eager to get out of my lease! If you do move here DO NOT move near the South end of the property. I can hear the Otay Ranch High School band from 2:30 pm and on sometimes until late at night due to games. Parking is a JOKE! If you come home later than 9pm then you are lucky to get a spot near your apartment.
When we first moved in they did not clean out apartment. AND they did not clean it after we moved in and I showed them how it was not clean. I used to work for an upscale apartment complex and this does not compare. There are bees that get into my apartment.. and I have no clue how they get in. BUT there are lots in my light fixture.
The people that live across the way from me smoke in the breezeway and seem to have 4 or more people living in their small 1X1 apartment. There are cigarette butts everywhere. They play loud music late at night. They run up the stairs and talk loudly in the breeze way.
My neighbors dog bit me, But they told me that was not their problem. So now if I go out I have to hope that she is not trying to handle the 2 Dalmatians that they let her have here.
I do not think that they are as military friendly as they claim. They should not make you pay back your concession if you are on a military move. Teresina up the street does not do that incase you are looking for something like that.
ALSO... Our apartment is starting to get rust. I dont think we have ever had this problem with apartment living. Out bathroom tub is getting rust and out toilet it getting a ring of rust as well. AND I clean so I dont know how this happens.
I love the layout of our apartment. It just seems not to be well built or maintained. I can hear the people above me WALKING!
I wish that this place were worth the money but I just don't think it is.
