Wow, I was a little bit surprised at all the bad reviews. We used to live at Camden Sierra from 2003-2004. And before everything else, no, we are not former or current employees of Camden Sierra nor do we have relatives or friends that work there. We only stayed there for 7 months while we waited for our house to be built. Why did we choose that apartment' Because they were the only ones who would give us a lease for less than a year or who would agree to give us a month-to-month lease. We did call Pinnacle and they will accept 1-year leases or more. Why did we choose that area' Because it is just 5 minutes from our current house which is in Eastlake. During that time, the office management was a different group then. The office manager who is female was professional and was pleasant - although, whenever I am at the office to pay our rent, I never see her. The staff was pleasant and helped us with any issues we had but they're not what I would rate as someone who would go out of their way. They were not bad but they're not the best either. Whatever maintenance or repairs we needed, we'd get a response within 24 hours and we would get prompt service. I guess there is new management and staff since then and reading from the reviews, they're worse than the previous one. Yes, parking is terrible. And yes, I have seen one garage door that took weeks before it was repaired. Noise has been a problem - mainly from our neighbors upstairs. We didn't really have a bad, bad experience but we didn't have a great one either. The secondary bedrooms to their 3-bedroom apartments were of ample size. But the rest are small. I guess, when we moved out, that's when situations there got worse - robberies, burglaries, cars broken into, etc. and the quality of everything you could think of started deteriorating. Would I recommend it to anybody' Looking at the reviews, a definite NO.
