I have a unit facing Telegraph Canyon road and the management pretty much talked me into it with the promise of being moved to another unit later on after AT least 4 months in mine and the noise SUCKS. The complex had an exterior face lift of new paint but most of the complex is run down and falling apart. The maintenance staff (Diego) is very nice and helpful but the complex seriously needs a renovation. My biggest problem with where I am at is the street noise and my noisy neighbors, they are SO rude and are pigs! They have people coming and going all hours of the night and use the BBQ grill and never clean up after themselves!! They stomp around their unit like they are the only ones living there. The other night it seemed like they were moving out but they were doing it between 9:00 and 11:00 PM!!!!!!!!! No consideration for others, when I called the office to complain previously about the neighbors their answer was to call the courtsey patrol which I have NEVER seen once since I have been there for almost 6 months. Also, the week I moved in there was a DEA unit searching the complex for a drug bust, there have been police onsite numerous times and it never seems to be explained about why they were there. The clubhouse is pretty nice and the pool is decent but the gym is small.
One of the girls in the office is pretty nice but overall you never see the people who work there unless you search them out. The apartments are good sized and do come with washer and dryer in the unit BUT the cost for the gas, sewer and trash is CRAZY....There is decent storage in the unit on the patio. I think after living in a house for over 8 years it is hard to go back to apartment living and I wish I had spent more time in selecting where I moved and wished I had found this site before I made my final choice!!
If you can overlook the dirty complex and how old it is and get lucky with quiet neighbors then I guess it is an okay place.
