Missions at Sunbow

Love my apt! From: cmchansen Date posted: 4/24/2006 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006   This is a great looking apt. We love the crown molding, the oval shaped tubs, the look of the cabinets, the little playground, etc. We used the common area for my daughter's first birthday. The gourmet kitchen was a dream. We had tons of food that filled the giant island and about 30 of us, including kids, were able to mingle and play problem-free. However, we had an issue with guest parking. We rented here because we felt it was the best value in the area for a unit with an attached garage. Also, even though I thought the kitchen was a little small compared to our 2nd choice (The Pinnacle at Otay), I thought it had more character with custom cabinets, updated hardward, black appliances, and an attractive countertop. Honestly, it was one of the prettiest kitchens we looked at. However, because it was small, it was harder getting settled into the kitchen the first few months, but we've been here almost a year and it's not a problem any more. My only complaint is that we had to pay an extra $400 pet deposit along with $25 more a month for pet rent. We have an indoor cat. We also have a toddler. As anyone with small children can testify, they are much, much more disastrous than any single cat could ever be. I feel the additional pet rent is just money thrown out the window for no reason. We will definitely have our carpets professionally cleaned when we vacate but we can thank our daughter for spilling juice, throwing food, and taking off her diaper, for the added expense. (Pet rent, what a joke!) So far, we haven't had any problems with either mgmt or maintenance. Any issues we've had have been handled promptly. In general, I would recommend this place to anyone. (Plus, I love that they pick up my garbage for me, twice a week!)
