Don't do it...

Where shall I start...I have lived in these ghetto "luxury" apartments for 3 years. Many new management companies later, things are still not up to par. Upon move in I had NO carpet in my apartment. When I pulled up with the moving truck I noticed some tweaker installing the cheapest, cheesiest, no pad having carpet. My sinks are constantly clogged. Smoke alrarms go off randomly (imagine waking up to that at 2 a.m.). Walls are thin (sounds like the neighbors are filming a porn upstairs). Ghetto kids running around ALL the time. Parents are no where to be found. Forget taking your child to the pool for a relaxing afternoon swim...the same ghetto kids mentioned above are cursing and out of control unsupervised at the pool. After numerous telephone complaints regarding the noise level in my building I decided to put my issues on paper and surprisingly that did work..thumbs up Teresina! If you are even considering moving to Terisina please rethink that idea. You will regret it! Save your self from unnecessary irritation.

The person who wrote this is obviously from a ghetto neighborhood otherwise who give her/him the right to judge others. The parents of "those ghetto kids" pay the same amount of money that they are paying making them just as entitled to be here. This neighorhood is nice but it has nothing to offer for kids - so what do kids do when they have no where to go or play?? Look around, there are no rec centers or convience stores nearby, and nothing is within walking distance so get a grip and stop being so damn anal.

I have to say I do agree with the original comment about the Teresina Apartment complex. Families may not be "ghetto", but they are certainly unaware of their childrens doings. Paying rent does entitle a person to using the space, but it does not entitle families to infringe upon the rights of others i.e. the noice level. The surrounding neighborhood is very nice, but Teresina itself leaves much to be desired.

There are two parks within a block of the apartments; I'd say the kids have somewhere to go. However, I would never call them ghetto. Yes, there's a lot of swearing kids at the pool and that's annoying, but if they address you they are polite and courteous. At least the ones I live around are. Besides, what is the management supposed to do about that? Give out parenting lessons?
