Among the luxury apartments in this area (East Lake), this one may be priced more affordable, but in terms of property details and features, this one may not be considered a luxury apartment. Initially, I leased this place because 1BR/1BA was priced at 1205 a month for 10-12 month lease, but they added $200 so it came up with $1405 plus the W/D and water/garbage, expect to pay $1500 or more!! the points of concern are: - Washer/Dryer will come separately.(When I moved in, I had to lease from Azuma leasing and now the management changed, it looks like they charge extra for providing the machines. So the base rent approx. $40 is what you actually pay) - Too many kids... (This is definitely not a place for a single person. Most of the tenants are families and during the day, you will hear lots of noise from swimming pool and kids screaming outside...) - No choice of ISP or cable provider (They have a contract with AT&T Home Entertainment and you can only get the community-based satellite TV(DirecTV) and SBC/YAHOO DSL unless your unit is facing south and capable of satellite dish hook-up. The service of AT&T Home Entertainment is so horrible!!) - Location (For those who work in Otay area or East Lake, this area is the best choice, but now the toll road 125 is there and new shopping malls are built, price of rental property value has risen. If I don't need to live in this area, I would rather choose a nice apartment in Mission Valley for the same amount.)East Lake is too far to go to beach or downtown/airport.It is also too far from freeway 805.)

I definitely agree with your comment regarding their cable provider. It really sucks coz you can't get any cable service you like. We moved in last month and we were told by the lady in the office that we can get any cable service we like. Yeah right, we had a hard time looking for s cable service and only to be told later that Teresina is under contract with AT & T. Your unit has to face south for a satellite dish to work, well out unit doesn't. They should have built all units facing south if they were planning to be under contract with AT & T. We are not happy right now...will not recommend them to anybody.
