I am a former tenant there and it is an awful place to live. Half of the population are now black and everyday you will see early in the morning broken car windows. The manager is a complete idiot and does nothing to have these people removed from the premises. Also there are several current members selling drugs and trafficking illegals. She (the current manager which I believe her name is Jennifer) knows this and still has not bothered to get these people out. Its been going on for over 2yrs now and nothing has been done. This should tell you enough so that you make a resonable decision on wether you want to move there.

What the hell do you mean, "half the tenants are black?" I bet your ass is Mexican...especially if you lived in Chula Vista at Villa Marina...Take your ass to Mexico or to Europe if you have such a problem with "black" people, -----!

just clarify, i have been here since 05..i have one of the nicest cars in the apartment complex...has never been broken in...the rent is reasonable...most of the people that i have come in contact with are pretty nice...have never seen with my eyes any drug activity...the posters initial review is absolutlely ignorant and should not be read and digested in any other way...there are ALOT of families that live here, alot of children of all backgrounds...if being surronded by 'different' is uncomfortable for you then yes - Villa Marina is not a place for you
