I do NOT recommend this complex.

My fiance and I have lived here for 7 months, and we absolutely hate it. The parking situation is atrocious. Each apartment is allotted one parking spot, and any additional cars are relegated to the street. Because of this, my fiance's car was stolen right off the street within two months of us moving here. That was a nice welcome to the neighborhood. When we moved in, we were put on a waiting list for a second parking spot, which we would have to pay $20 extra per month, and which we were finally granted a week after our second car was stolen.
The head manager is a witch. The girls who work in the office who do most of the work are very nice and extremely helpful, but the woman who runs the show is quite surly. Every interaction we have had with her has been unpleasant. She is short with the tenants and always seems annoyed with anyone who speaks to her.
We have loud, obnoxious neighbors who we have reported several times. The first time I called the office about our neighbors, I was told that 3 strikes and they would be evicted. I have since reported them no less than 4 more times, and they are still there and still making a ruckus. I'm no prude, but I can only handle so many nights of loud music and men wrestling in their living rooms.
The laundry room is another story. At $2 per load, I can deal with it, but every time I go down there, there are at least 3 machines that don't work, some of which end up with standing water sitting in them for days on end, and there were quite a few days during the summer when it smelled like a rotting corpse down there.
The pool is decent, besides being right in eye-shot of several apartments, which is kind of creepy. There is a "rec room" consisting of a TV, a couple of couches, a kitchen and a pool table. We've only been in there a couple of times, and it seems decent enough. The "gym" is 2 treadmills, an elliptical, and a hot tub that I'm not sure ever gets cleaned. And you would think that charging us almost $1000 for a 700 sq ft apartment that they could afford some better gym equipment.
My fiance and I work second shift jobs and we are regularly woken up in the late mornings by the groundskeeper using a chainsaw on the bushes directly below our bedroom window. Who uses a chainsaw on shrubbery!' Either way, the grounds are well-kept, which is about the only thing the skag of a manager seems to care about.
Overall, our experience with Bonita Glen has been an unpleasant one, and we most certainly plan on moving out the day our lease is up.
