After 4 years, it turned out to be a Nightmare:

After four and a half years here, I've had the utmost
nightmarish experience with the last of those years. The first three
years were good. But I live upstairs and have had to call security twice
and next time I'll file a police report and call CPS
on these downstars neighbors. It's like three families
or so live down there; and they can't control their children. The children scream, running up and down the stairwells and run out into the parking lot where they could get hit. I'm one month away to moving out and man do I wish it was sooner. The so-called adult(s) w/ them don't watch them. They're too busy yelling on their cell phone. I so wanted construction on the new place I'm going to, to have been completed much sooner. The women don't actually live in the apartment; they use it for whatever reason. But it's like a low budget prostitution ring or something because people just come and go 24/7. Men in and out, etc. They sit for 6-8 hours a day on the stairwell and talk on their cell phone.Sounds like some drug ring as well
--point remains the women can't control their children. And no body cares.
I have made several complaints to Angie, but she says to call the security
number, 916-919--6079, which I do and the security office hates coming out because they know it's a problem, as the officer admitted it. He even sounded like he wanted to discourage people from calling because he's not a real cop; and they pay people to be security people' These other reviews have to have people who are respectful of the community because it's like the projects on this side or the ghetto. Do not get into near the back of the apartments, as that's where I am in having to put up with this awful experience. I was told after being here for this long that there would be some selective quieter tenants, but that wasn't the case. Nightmare on Fair Housing Street, and what's really fair about it' People who aren't actually on the lease living there' What a drag to have to worry about one's safety in trying to live normally to get out of here on one piece. Get this: this evening's security
call was also due to one of the women not letting me get down the stairwell
to dump off my garbage in the garbage waste bin. Can you believe this. You talk about stressful and a real safety issue. Good luck!!!!

The other thing: If you are renting Apt. 122, you'll get the worst parking space
as it's adhesed to the smelly garbage containers; the company refuses to reassign people, but I saw another tenant get to move his vehicle close to him, perhaps
due to a handicap sticker. Who knows. I can't wait to get out of Citrus Heights
for good. After three good years, this last one really clouded it as
it's an issue of actual survival in that the next course of action left is to
start filing actual police reports because security could care less.
But on the plus side, the staff has been friendly and flexible, but they
need to really deal w/ the reality of the problem people they've chosen.

Yes, unfortunely, we do live in the same complex. But you probably have non verbally abusive and non physically abusive neighbors. Why should you have to wait for a lease to expire to remove them from the premise? And if you read my response I have said the staff is friendly, and they truly are; it's just that with severely problematic people like the ones under me it hasn't been handled the way it should be. Protocal motions of course, but I think the problem could be bigger than what they thought or they just didn't know how yet to go about it. I don't know. All I know is this morning, I had to place another call to security being the third call to them, as this time around the woman and man were really going at it--fighting and throwing each other and things around their apt. Very scary. Granted, you can't control human behavior, but it seems to be that even if their lease isn't up, you can still do something about it; it's within the lease contract that also says for "any cause."--That being the landlord's protection. You'd feel the same way if you were dealing with the kind of people underneath me currently. After 4 and a half years, yeah it's a bummer; these people below me are bad trouble. The screaming and pushing of each other alerts a domestic violence issue, and an innocent person could get hurt, especially with a dozen kids involved that hang out there. Their parents should be more in tune w/ what's happening here.I did over hear this am after the security officer left that the woman called someone named Paula and has said I hope they just don't find out about that. Something bad, obviously; but in the mean time it's terribly unsettling having to deal w/ these people the violence issues between these people.

As manager I would like to address the above complaint. The residents causing all the trouble are being delt with. Per our company policy we are unable to ask someone to vacate until their lease is expired. The above residents will be asked to leave at that time. Aslo we do a criminal backgound check for all applicants and have a zero tollerance drug policy. As for the parking, management is able to reassign parking, however we have limited space available and must be aware of the problem in order to make the change.

In reference to the above complaint, I wonder if we live in the same apartments. I have lived here more than 2 years and I can only say the management has gone above and beyond to accommodate my needs and to resolve any negative issues immediately. I also had a problem similar to yours and when I approached Angie and it was dealt with swiftly. I can't imagine her disregarding your issue. I have found the complex to be very quiet, the staff is extraordinarily friendly and professional, and the grounds well kept. I would recommend living here to anyone.

I also have lived in this same complex for over four years and have only good things to say.I believe I live near the person who has left the above complaint and I have to say my views on things are quite different! There was a few times when this neighbors kids were being loud but it was addressed by the office and there is no longer any issues. I would recommend Foxborough to anyone and I think you would enjoy your experience as much as me!!

I live in this same building and the only tenant I have concerns or complaints about is the one living in apt.122.It seems that on a weekly basis she is causing some kind of drama. To me it appears that since she wasn't getting what she wanted from the apartment management or security she has now switched to calling the police with false statements. The statements that she has made in this review and to the police have been not only untrue but slanderous and seem to be escalating. I hope things settle down soon or she is able to move early because she is making my living here and many other neighbors lives very unpleasant.I will say a prayer for all concerned.
