I lived in the salishan apartments for six months and during that time nothing worked ( pool, hot tub, gate.) There were cops there everyday. The folks from the low income housing next door would come over and enjoy the pool daily and the management would do nothing about it, and the guy across from me committed suicide. After all this, I requested for my lease to be terminate early, since I DID NOT feel safe there. Well, I thought my prayers had been answered when I recieved a letter(filled with typos) stating that my lease was up a month early. So, with only three weeks to find a new place, I looked franticaly and found a new home for my son and I. When I informed the management about they told me it was a mistake and that I was responsible for the final month of rent or it would go on my credit report. So, I took mopney out of savings to pay it, because they said they would try real hard to fill the apartment and give me my money back. Well, they did not try at all and I was out $1000! A month later I recieved a letter (filled with more typos) saying all of my information was stolen from thier office and that I need to contact all of my credit companies. I finally decided to sue Salishan. Well, they are a crooked company. I have tried to serve them twice, but they are not were they are suppose to be. There is no record of the Demmon Family Partnership out there. They are an invisible company hiding behind a shield of different names. I highly recommend that you stay away from this apartment complex!

I just moved to Salishan apartments a week ago, and already I am having problems! As I was looking on the internet for an address for the property management for Salishan....I couldnt find anything but the name of the company! No website, no phone number or address.....NOTHING! Then I find this review, and it all makes sense now. When I came to look at these apartments, I was interested in the one bedroom, but by the time we had gotten back to the rental office, the apartment i wanted was being rented. So the girl says she feels horrible and she wants to show me the 2 bedroom, just incase. So when we get there she tells me that since the one bedroom had rented so quickly, and she felt so bad about it, that she would give a great deal on the 2 bedroom ($75.00 off). Well thinking that shes just a really nice person, I jump at the opportunity! Well now i know why i got such a "great deal". I get to fall asleep to barking dogs from the animal shelter that is about 100 ft. away.....AND rap music from a bar that's next door to the animal shelter! I've been here 1 week, and have yet to sleep through the night. And that isnt even why im angry! I called the office to report that my fridge/freezer isnt getting cold enough, and all my food is defrosting. They tell me they will send someone out...well the didnt. So I call later that night when i got home and left a message on the answering maching wanting to know why no one had been over. So since i was on the topic of things being screwed up, I decided to fill them in on the dogs and the bar.....and the fact that my apartment is crooked! I had to put a towel under my bookcase just so it would stand straight! And when you sit on the toilet, your leaning to one side!!! Well when I got a call back the next morning, the girl tells me that she informed me that this apartment is discounted BECAUSE of its location. SHE NEVER DISCLOSED THIS INFORMATION. Infact she made it sound like she was doing me a favor! Im so livid over this! And now Im stuck in a year lease, in a crooked, loud apartment with half frozen food. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
