We are changing our review because we were upset at the time we wrote the first one but, not that everything is perfect now but, things seem to be getting a little better. We all have to live here so hopefully if we can all get along we can make this a better place to live. I just wish management would take our issues seriously. I realize that we all have to work together, slow down in the parking lot keep our areas clean consider others by not being noisey all hours but, the problem with that is some people don't care. The ones who don't have any problems here you are lucky but, remember there are some here with real issues and we all have a right to our opinions. All we can do is hope it gets better, not worse.

We get a lot of cops here because we are close to the KMART parking lot and speeders from the freeway/running from police, think they can lose them through the three apartment complexes and jump the fence to the open parking lot. It isn't ALWAYS the residents. If you hear fighting or dogs barking, get the apt. number, and take it to the office. They will then issue a noise violation. DUH! It's not rocket science. OH, and if you hear fighting, call the cops. If you hear partying, call the cops. This is an apartment complex, if you want silence, move into a house. Otherwise, you're just going to have to deal with it like everyone else here. When I hear fighting or partying, I call the cops (if it can't be resolved by speaking to the other resident). No one EVER likes where they live when they are in an apartment. It has been that way since the beginning of time, lol. But, I'm Sorry that you couldn't get a parking spot, that would make me mad too. OH!! and I don't know if you know this, but the two people working in the office DO live here. So, they can relate!!!!!!! Just an FYI.

I like it here, and I don't go through all this crap. They recently had a contest for best patio, the best got money off thier rent. The cops running through here, I remember. It did scare me, but after two years of living here, it was the first I saw of something so serious. Next door, I have 2 teenage guys sharing the apartment, about once a month they have a party and it's not that bad. The guy above is right; It's an apartment complex! It's going to be noisy! And especially for the price, what do you expect? My parking spots have always been right out front by my car; I've left it unlocked with money on the front seat and it was still there in the morning. Any problems I've had with my car, were from people in the 'nice' gated community next door when they put sugar in my gas tank. A locking cap and no more problems. The laundry rooms have only flooded once; a pipe burst because the management admits the pipes are old here. There are plumbing problems here (Pipes squeak upstairs is the water isn't on full blast), but it's easily fixed. They resurfaced the pool recently, so of course it was drained! It looked like they replaced the light in the pool as well, and I'm sure the pipe bursting from the laundry room didn't help! I will admit, the management sucks right now, the only one who knew what they were doing just left on maternity! But if you keep on them, they do get work done. As for false promises, how hard was it to walk three steps from the office into the laundry? Ten to the pool? Don't be mad about something you knew about before you signed the papers, or were too stupid/lazy to look at!

That's all good and well but, maybe you have it better then others. Or maybe you are one of the ones who cause the problems or part of management. These are all things that different people think that's why this is a place to vent but, like you we are intitled to our own opinion. You don't have to be soo bitchy to us about it. Lucky you, you don't have problems but, there are some who do.

we as management have our hands tied behind our backs sometimes. we have a budget and only a certain amount of money, and when we have 168 units and only a certain amount of money to spend on things getting broken, new paint for those moving out, etc. we can't always take care of every single issue. and the one on maternity is here, and as far as me not knowing anything, i do. the problem is people love to complain and say this persons being loud and this car did this or he parked in my spot....but the problem is i'm told 3 days later. FYI! if you've got a complaint, tell me at the time. i live at the complex and i'm happy to help anytime even when i'm off work. but i'm not happy to get yelled at about old news. if you've got a complaint, let me know at the time whatever may be going on is happeneing, not hours/days later when i can't do anything about it. i can't put a notice on someones door for something that happened "the other day" i need to know when its going on. were trying to make this the best place to live, but remember, you have to do your part. were not mind readers, and yes sometimes we forget. were human to. so if we do, remind us :)
