I just moved from Sunrise Woods a couple of weeks ago and I loved the 4 and a half years I spent there. If it wasn't for my new house, I'd still be there. As I was moving, the management company change. I read some of the other reviews about the new company and agree on some, but disagree eith others so I felt the need to add my two cents in. Before I go into the new company, I must say the apartments are great! They are good sized and laid out very nice. I have absolutely no complaints on parking, parties or anything. It's actually very quiet, except for the sound of children playing during the warmer months and sometimes the neighbors tv. Occationally there's some minor disturbances, but I think that comes with living in an apartment. Maintenance has always been great. They're always very nice and friendly. Not sure if they are part of the new management, but Of all the years, I've been here, and the few that have come and gone were all great. Now as far as the new company is concerned...The part time girl in the office was sooo sweet. She was so helpful with the move and all. I wish she was around more as my dealings with the manager was not the best. She was never rude or mean to me specifially, but as an observation, she did come off as bitchy. I'm not trying to get anyone in trouble so I won't give too many details, but I went to put in a maintenance request about my sink, and she was barking orders out to the maintenance guys and then turned around and started ordering around her assistant. Before she could turn around, I walked out and decided to just call in my request. The other time I saw the manager was when I was turning in my keys. She was again in the office on the phone aor something yelling out orders. Not that's its any of my busines, but she seemed real demanding and bossy. I'm glad I never had to deal with her personally as I'm not usually that tolerant of that kind of unprofessional behavior. Other than that, Sunrise Woods is great, just try to avoid the manager.
