I've been here for almost 2 years and pay my rent on time every month, but the last 3 months have been nothing but problems. I've never had a problem since I moved in until now. My beef is with the manager Dayla. I own my own business so I work 6-7 days a week and I'm never home when the office is open so I put my rent check in the mail slot by the 1st of the month...Every Month! 2 months ago I was informed by Dayla that they did not have my rent check. I told her I dropped my check in the slot and even gave her the check number. She said well we don't have it so you must have not put it in like you think you did. Because I don't have the time to deal with her drama, I paid the stop payment fee to stop pay my check I wrote another check for my rent plus a late fee and guess what' They got the check I put in the slot that night, go figure! I hoped it was just a mistake that happens sometimes so I let it go. The next month, no problem, so it must have been a mistake right' Wrong...This month, they don't have my rent again! I know I put the check in the slot. I made damn well sure of that because of what happened before. Now they want another late fee and I have to pay another fee to my bank to stop payment on the other check! I tried talking to her about it and she always refuses to acknowledge any kind of error on her part. She won't even accept that there is a possibility that it could have happened on her end. I am really PISSED off about this, but what am I suppose to do, pack my stuff up and move' When do I have time for that' I don't even have time to date let alone move, but I refuse to have to live in a place where the manager is rude and has obvious shady behavior. I even read the other ratings about her and its apparent that I'm not the only one that thinks she's gotta go, but yet she's still here. If this happens just one more time, I will find the time to take my story to a local News Channel. Let's see if they like that kind of publicity!

Why didn't you call the corporate offices? I know you're probably pissed and I would be heated too, but if your story is 100% true, call corp! They would be the best to handle that. Hope they don't lose the check again next month. Maybe you can drop it off and call them the next morning to make sure they got it?
