I moved in to Casa two weeks ago. I was once a Property Manager, so I knew all the right questions to ask. I asked about parking and was told there was plenty of parking, NOT!!!! This was important as my household has two vehicles. I had not lived in the city of Colton previously so, I was not aware off that we expected for me to pay, such as water, sewer, etc. I felt duped because I was told very little about what was expected of me as a tenant. I am rarely able to get someone in the leasing office to answer the phone and have to leave a message. The day of move-in, the lease was signed and I was told I would receive a copy once the Manager signed it, a week and a half later; I had to request a copy of my lease. I still do not have any information regarding my renter's insurance, which I had to have. Less than 48 hours after move-in, I discovered the floors through out the apartment were warm. As if you were to take laundry out of the dryer and place them on the floor. I suggested there might be a leak under the slab. I have had mant. come out twice, neither of the men actually looked around, but explained this was an old complex and there was nothing that could be done. I have been sick since I moved in and thought it was a bad allergy season. I discovered last night that there is MOLD; yes MOLD growing under my second bathroom sink. I looked a little further and discovered there had been a previous pipe repair. I am disgusted and outraged that Casa has blown off my concerns knowing fully well within the past 24 months or so , there were leaks in my apartment. I am tired of playing around with this community!!! I asked all the right questions and was lied to!! Yes, the community is nice and in general, I love my apartment, aside from a gun battle, I heard over night a few blocks away. I suggest you make sure you do all of your homework and then some. You will have to stay on the leasing office to make sure all of your concerns are taking care of.
