The only positive aspect of the apartment is square footage. Builings are old, most have water damage to some extent, and having a warm shower is a gamble. The office staff is fairly rude when you ask them why there is no hot water or the water is totally off. The office does not notify residents of water outages, even for up to 8 hours. Appliances are old, refrigerator not included. Rumor has is rent is going to $1195 per month. That seems criminal from the perspective of a current tenant. The street is a tow away zone on mondays, so parking is horrible. Gated community' Hardly. Walk-in gates broken 70% of the time, drive-in gates work more often. The only really happy residents are the ants and termites. There are no touches that make the complex "nice". There are no base boards, carpet and linoleum are coming up. Cabinets and fixtures are old. There needs to be major rennovations before we would renew our lease.
