To be honest I really like Lakeshore apartments, but due to recent events, I am deciding to move on.
I have been having problems with the Manager, (Meg Yosef) loves to tell people that she will help out, or do something to resolve problems within the apartment complex, but she never actually does anything. She also comes in pretty late after lunch, and is often on the grounds, unavailable when you need her aid.
I cannot really say that the place is secure. There are some tenants who are really noisy and you can easily hear through the wooden walls. There are also some tenants who have animals in their apartments, and the manager does nothing about it.
Also, don't expect the manager to call you or leave a note when you have a package with her. She will leave it in her office (even car), until you look for it.
One thing I like about lakeshore is the surrounding area. It is always breezy and there it doesn't get too hot in the area. Security is ok, but not really controlled. People who are not even tenants use the laundry room. There are also a couple of people outside, mostly during the night, selling weed I guess.
The maintenance crew are really nice and helpful. If you need help, they will really try to help out.
In summary, there are pros and cons in living here, just like everywhere else. If you are someone who sleeps lightly or having trouble sleeping, 95% you'll have trouble getting some shut eye here.
