My husband and I moved into these apartments as first time renters a year ago. As we were doing our walk-through before moving in, the kitchen stove sparked and exploded when the lady turned it on to show how it worked. She assured us it would be repaired by the time we moved in. The dishwasher had broken parts inside it, but again she assured us that these were insignificant problems that did not need fixing... We should have taken these as signs to NOT MOVE IN HERE. Shortly after moving in, we discovered that the stove in question still was not working, and the dishwasher stopped mid-cycle and left a lake of dirty dishwater in the bottom. We had to rent a Rug Doctor machine to get the water out of it so it wouldn't stink up the apartment, and thenceforth we had to handwash all of our dishes. Also, our garbage disposal was making the most raucous noises when we used it the first couple of times, and shook the whole countertop. Then it completely stopped working, and would no longer even drain. We made several attempts at getting them to come fix our kitchen appliances, but to no avail. No letter or verbal request would get them in there to do their job. We are moving out in two weeks, but to this day they still have not come in to fix this dilemma. We have stagnant, smelly water in our sink that still won't drain, and no way to clean our dishes, save for the one tiny little side of the sink that does drain. They do a terrible job of painting so there are chips of paint all over the carpet and bad cover-up jobs of holes on the walls. This brings us to the TERRIBLE community and poor neighbors. There are shady characters day and night. I worry for my safety whenever I'm outside my apartment. The parking, (or rather lack thereof) is a nightmare! There is never a spot close to our apartment so we have to walk a great distance, often late at night. Not a gated community, either, so we have people driving in all hours of the day and night... all the time. The tenants play mariachi music all the time extremely loud until late into the night. There are CONSTANTLY screaming children outside running amuck and getting into who knows what kind of trouble' They are never supervised and are extremely, EXTREMELY noisy. Another problem we have had to deal with since moving in is the lack of water pressure, in the kitchen, and in the shower. The water will switch from hot to cold with the snap of a finger, and more often than not, the water will completely turn off because there is no pressure, so we're left standing there with shampoo still in our hair. The mail room is constantly in disarray and is vandalized at least once a week with the flourescent lights dangling from the ceiling and holes that look as though they've been kicked through the wall. The metal drop box for outgoing mail is always being pried open so that my husband or I would never even think about sending our mail out from there. We always have to take it to the post office. Not to even mention the puny size of this 1 bed 1 bath apartment. It's barely even a livable space. Overall, this has been a dreadful living experience, and we are counting the minutes until we are finally able to rid ourselves of a nasty lease, with a nasty staff, and dirty, sleaseball neighbors.

The management are the worst ever, they don't care about you or the community, they are just doing whatever they can to get their payments each month. You can see from the above post how they lie, they do NOT do their very best, because if they did things would be much different, and the rent is NOT that cheap, pay couple hundred more a month and get something 10x better.
