Find another place. People move out every month. This time it??s my turn! I am so glad I am out of Deerwood! The apartment complex is a scam. When I found out I would have to pay 1 ?? months to rent to move out a week early I said forget it. I paid for the extra week! I didn??t want to wait for management to find somebody else.
When I moved in almost all of my electrical sockets had to be replaced. We were promised new carpet but, there wasn??t any. We had to clean crap left behind from the last tenet (or was it maintenance')
The management team is the worst! They constantly lie about everything. You always have to wait 48 hours for a work order. Once, one of the maintenance people stole from my apartment. Then I was supposed to prove I owned what they stole! Unbelievable!
The installation is poor. I can see ?? inch outside my door and when I asked for maintenance to fix it they just adjusted how the door was hanging. I can peek outside the door. Forget about using the dish washer. The claim, your dishwasher is new; it??s just that the water is hard. Funny, I didn??t know the inside is supposed to look yellow, or the rod is supposed to be full if calcium deposits or the outside is supposed to be dented on a new dishwasher.
You are only guaranteed one spot for parking.
The people who clean the drive way only blow everything everywhere. Once a car was broken into and three days later the street cleaners just scattered it rather than depositing it into the trash bin.
The pool is always dirty! It is usually filled with unwatched and unruly children.
What ever they are doing with gardening is ridiculous literally the gardeners are here EVERY DAY doing something -- mowing, blowing, edging -- and the mowing takes forever! If you need a second parking spot beware, half the spots are under pine trees and the gardeners collect the branches behind cars. You might want to check behind your car before driving off.
This is not the best neighborhood, car alarms are constantly going off and you can hear teenagers bragging about being arrested or planning to do something illegal.

Thinking about moving into the Ashton any comments on that one????? Moving August 1 2006. Need advise before I lock into a lease..
