First of all you have to know that all of the apartment complexes in Corona are sister companies of each other. In other words, if you don't like Marquessa, than you won't like the Ashton's, Deerwood or the grimmy green and brown HUD looking apartments across the street! They are all managed by the same property management team. Yikes! Marquessa is like someone else mentioned, one of,if not THE loudest complexes in the vicinity! I'm talking inside and out. The apartments were built so poorly, that if you live on the bottom level you can hear every move your neighbor above makes. It sounds like they have wood floors! You can even hear your neighbor pee! Now that is nasty! The other person is right...the people that live here are rude...they don't give a damn. The neighbor above to the right of me would get up on the weekend at around 7:ooish and play headache wrenching music!I finally got out of bed one morning and knocked on his door. Thank the Lord above, he ended up moving out. The neighbors above me were young, yep you guessed it, party, party, party. I like to party too, but damn! every Friday and Saturday! I complained to the office religiously, finally the office sent them a notice. They too, moved months later. Not only that,I've had problems with little red crawfish looking bugs! between the uninsulated front door and sliding glass,these critters managed to slip their way in at night, the next day about twenty of these nasty things lay dead by my door. Nasty, Nasty. The apartment complex looks real nice from the outside, but that is a distraction from the truth. They have deteriorated since I've been here. And yes,the first maintenance guy did look creepy. But, hey the new maintenance guys look like gang members! Are they fixing things or looking at my stuff' hmmm...I don't like the fact that they might have access to my apartment either! I can't figure out what they do, nothing is fixed...the garages are falling apart, the paint on the exterior is fading, trash floating everywhere....and, Safety, forget it. I had to watch my back every morning I got up to go to work. Who knows who/what was watching me! Someone did get raped here. Where was security' I hear we had security, but, I'd never seen them! and, you don't want to know about the isolated inclosed walkways between the buildings! Who thought of this!!!I felt like I was walking into hells gates. At night it was even creepier. I also, think there really was a heated pool, when the complex first open! bottom line...I'd lived here way too long... Why' There were some good amenities at Marquessa...hell, you can't find an apartment in Orange County with a frig, full-size washer/dryer, tennis, raquetball, dirt volleyball, sauna, unheated pools, workout room, nasty neighbors, and bugs! You get it all here and for less!
