Don't Like It-Office is Rude/Unprofessional, Too pricey

The Springs apartment complex itself is pretty, the apartments are SMALL!! Not worth the amount of rent they want (currently around $975 for a 2BD/2BA). The office staff generally sucks except for the 1 or 2 ok people who seem to be either moving on or let go (read: high turnover). The manager does not wish to answer basic questions about the community or the complex and once you do rent from this place, she will treat you like a child or worse (when she's there!), God forbid you have a problem. They also made comments on our economic situation that were uncalled for and unprofessional despite having great credit. For general complex problems (such as gate malfunctions, etc) you will get a different story from whomever you talk to. The lease paperwork will have lots of errors (had to have it corrected 4 times and its still not totally correct actually!) and they will not know how much you are actually paying for the rent (got a notice to renew when we just moved in for people who didn't live there anymore). In all the office staff is standoffish and disorganized. They do not speak Spanish for a predominately Spanish speaking residency. Breaking the lease is easy, but getting them to rerent the apartment is proving to be a bit more of a challenge. The complex is also near heavily used train tracks, cow pastures, and a sewage treatment plant (the air stinks, and trains keep you awake at night:sometimes at least 2-3 trains an hour). My opinion: Try somewhere else, the price is too high for the neighborhood--not a good neighborhood and the Jr. High is overcrowded--your child may get sent somewhere else and the office staff is way too rude--not what you want when you're paying approx. $1000/mo. for a small 2BD apartment in Corona (which is a long ways from anywhere).
