Sure it sounded like a good idea at the time, but no sooner was the lease agreement signed than they started changing terms without consent from the tenants. Office staff is incredibly arrogant, to the point of being not only smug, but downright nasty. If you can believe this, I was actually told that they can do whatever they want, since theyre part of management. Tried to get the phone number for corporate office and staff refused by saying they werent allowed to give it out, at least she wished me luck finding it. Now thats service, aint it. By the way, if youre not A-rated credit they request an additional months rent as part of the deposit, and then proceeded to charge a prorated rental fee for the months balance. So much for 1st & last months rent, since they insisted on being paid every single month of your lease term.Oh, and about the so called amenities, the swimming pool is only usable 3 monthe of the year since they stopped heating the pool, the spas are generally dingy and the water does not inspire that fresh feeling youd wish for. Lighting on premises is minimal at best, with the landscaping generally unkept, so look out for any low hanging branches as they could very well poke your eye out. The steps leading towards the pool used to have a handrail, now its become nothing short of an accident waiting to happen since the lighting in this specific area is very poor.
Overall my experience here at Baywood has been nothing short of unspectacular, incredibly dissapointing and frustrating. So if you make the same mistake I did, dont say I didnt try to warn you. Chances are that the only positive reviews you'll find about this complex were probably submitted by the very same office staff addressed at the beginning of my review, so don't fall for it. 3mPoZ6gGN6wTPgNi4L2C
