I am currently in the process of moving out. The apartment is only 1000.00 per month for a 2b/2b.
When I moved in, I only saw the model as the previous occupant did not move out until one week before I moved in. The day I showed up with the movers (first day granted access) the lights in the bathroom did not work, carpet was still wet and had stains and paint splatters everywhere. It also looked like there were blood splatters on the carpet in front of the master vanity.
The previous tenant had many pictures, and when they patched the holes, they smeared on copious amounts of spackle, then touched up the paint with a different color.
I have had to recaulk the tubs in the bathroom because of a mold issue. The caulking that was there was so dried and cracked, it did not seal the joins on the fixtures.
They do not have permission to enter my apartment, and I have come home twice to find them there.
The bathtubs have a spray finish, and it peels. I had to submit 3 requests for them to fix it, and when they finally did, they did not clean up after themselves and I came home to yards of plastic sheeting.
The counters in the kitchen have the same finish, and they peel if you actually clean them.
I was told by the staff that I shouldn't use comet type cleaners on my bathtub, or bleach containg cleaners in my kitchen. I was also told that I turned my water on too hot and this caused everything to peel.
They repainted the apartments, including patio floors. But the finish is peeling. It looks really bad.
I work full time and am a full time student, so they told me they put me in a nice quiet area. Actually they put in an ampartment diectly above an extremely abusive man and his family. I woke up every morning at 4 am listening to him hit his wife and tell his child what a stupid "f**ing" @$%@!! he was.
When I got home at night he usually continued until 10-11 pm. I complained, and they told me he was being eicted. Two months later he did leave.
The grassy area outside of my apartment is a haven for the local kids. That is ok until they get destructive. Noisy, but they have no where else to play. They usually go in by 9 or so.
There is a mold issue, but no bugs.
I wouldn't recommend this complex if you are looking for a nice, upscale home, but they are decent and inexpensive and relatively safe.
I did have someone try to break into my upstairs apartment, but the staff fixed the bent frame of my window. They have discontinued the security patrol though.
